Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

Do you generally ask "genuine" questions by first asking if the other person is a troll? To me that isn´t a genuine question, same as Luton and his "What about the boats!" brick or the roundabout question. It then turns out the numbers arriving by boat went up slightly, people leaving stayed the same and people coming over legally dropped, so that equals a decrease in people who are paying into the system and an increase in people taking out -pretty sure they called it National Insurance for a reason but what would I know

There is another statistic from the Home Office saying that between Jan 1 and May 20th 2026 there has been a 40% drop in small boat crossings compared to the same period of time last year.

I've seen those numbers. Sounds to me the problems have largely been resolved. No need for Reform any more.

On the internet, yes.
There is plenty of trolling and plenty of sarcasm.
So I asked if you were trolling or not - a valid question. The answer to which is "no, I'm not trolling".

Thanks for sharing your views.
So it's seems your sole focus is people arriving without a visa? Whether that be illegally or to seek asylum? Is that a fair extrapolation?
Is it purely the cost you are concerned about? And if so, what?
Do you think asylum is a valid reason to leave a country and go to another?

National Insurance isn't what you think it is based upon your above statement.
