Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

You jumped on my views about religion, asked a question, I answered.

That simple
I jumped on your views or just entered a discussion. You said you were fed up of people holding up Christianity as the moral high ground and when i asked for the examples that are riling you up, you said Tommy Robinson. A guy that isn't worth your oxygen and is hardly "representative". Its a bit like saying "I'm fed up of Norwegians taking the eco warrior high ground" and then when asked WTF you are on about saying "Look at that f*cking Greta, who the f*ck does she think she is?"

It's ok for you to ask people if they are racist, are they right wing etc but when you're asked a question, you do everything you can to change the subject
Racists generally out themselves, no need to ask someone if they are a racist.

I've not seen anyone other than @LutonSpurs being asked their opinion on Sharia law. It's as if his being Muslim means he must support it unless he says otherwise. A huge assumption being made there, based solely on his race.

On sharia, I think we need to differentiate sharia as a concept from the idea that it should be enforced on non-muslims.

Sharia is a code that practising muslims must follow. Which really isn't much different to other religions. I guess the rigidity of the code (that it is referred to as "a law") is reflective of what i have said differentiates islam from (certainly) Christianity in the obligation for strict adherence to achieve the "end game" of admission to heaven.

Saying that, sharia is misunderstood and the existance of "sharia councils/courts" in the UK isn't in and of itself a threat. A practising muslim may come across a situation in their life where it is not clear whether an action would be halal (allowed) or haram (prohibited). A practising muslim may rely on a ruling of a sharia council or court on the matter and therefore be confident in their behaviour at "judgement day".

I am sorry this is total gonads. There are no passages (and i mean zero) in Christian stripture or the bible calling for violence against non-Christians or domination of Christianity.

In fact, Christian script states that your sins will only be forgiven if you forgive the sins of others. Violence is expressly frowned upon and will bring consequences on yourself "those that live by the sword shall die by the sword". Retaliation is expressly forbidden and you must "love thy enemy" and "love thy neigjbour" are noted express commandments by Jesus of his followers.
My favourite bit of the bible is how Adam's first wife Lilith was bumped off and replaced by Eve. And her big crime was that she liked a bit of cowgirl position, whereas GHod and adam felt that only missionary was submissive enough for womankind. Mad brick!

That doesn't happen in the bible. Lilith being Adam's first is a hebrew/jewish text occurrence.
