Neither do I. He's not world class, but it's a massive upgrade in a much needed position. You can get a world class TEAM, without world class players in every position

With the caveat that I’ve only seen the YouTube clips of him, could he be a little like Carrick? Probably a bit better running with the ball, and not as good passing the ball long as Carrick. But a player who will mop up then keep the team ticking with forward runs and passes?

We lost fewer games than both Leicester and Chelsea but had too many draws, turn 4 draws in to wins or 3 plus one loss to a draw and 4th was ours.

Had VAR done it’s job since the restart we’d have been in with a shout of too 4 until the last day of the season without a DM, so throw him in there and it’s a definite yes!

From what I’ve seen of him passing isn’t his strength
He still has time to improve though

The two I know are exactly the same
Ok player, gives the ball away too often and can’t pass forward very well
But we should give him a chance and fresh eyes
He will be playing with better players and a better manager which can only help
It’s very different passing to a Harry Kane rather than a Shane Long
