So easy on the ball, good energy, very positive moving forward what a base to kick on from. I think he'd be great cover for our normal first XI or even take over PEH's place.

I'm hoping he gets more chances to play, we've a lot more coming to see from him, I think.

Yes on second thought I'd agree he might be better with Bentancur, if they can share DM duties. Interesting to see if Conte would try them in a double pivot.

The important thing here is that Sarr is able to come in and not brick the bed, which will in turn keep other players like PEH fresher and perhaps even more motivated knowing Conte could actually drop him if performances decline.

I saw a suggestion elsewhere that if we are struggling for numbers in attack we should/could use Sarr as the deepest of a midfield 3 in a 352 - early days but if he continues to impress then i feel that's a good option

At least this is a few decent performances in a row. I thought Conte actually showed some balls to start Sarr in a huge match, and Sarr should be happy with his overall performance. He did way better than his partner. Of course, I agree with your sentiment that we should always be patient and reasonable with expectations.

I think bentacur and Pierre work well but I’d love to see a fit bentacur and sarr play

sarr just looks like that player to me. He was everywhere today and won the ball high up too

Bentacur is a rolls Royce for me

Pierre is at his limit and that’s why I’d like to see the other two play
