OMT - Tottenham vs. Stoke

I've got to say, anyone who is a Stoke fan should feel ashamed and embarrassed. They are a disgrace of a club and their fans are a complete joke. They boo everything, play brick football and are a dirty bunch of brick tacos.

They've played 100 long balls and long throws already and I put the whole club ethic down to their clown shoe of a manager. If I had one bullet, he would have it.

fudging hate them with a passion and we're are the much better side.

We're playing well. Adebayor proved his point last time to all the other clubs and now doesn't give a brick. We can win this.

Stoke fans just doing what they do, their best to intimidate the opposition. Stoke's home form is basically the only reason that that they have stayed in this league as long as they have, and the crowd has played a big part in that.

we've got daws our most senior player and original captain, loris captain for france, verts captain for ajax. can't be for a lack of leadership.

have a feeling its something born out of training. i'd like to understand who is our defensive coach.
 
That's what makes the premiership more interesting tho. Different types of teams.

Stoke play to their strengths. Nothing wrong with that. It's just very different to what we are brought up on at spurs.

Yeah I agree with this. It always takes a few games for him to click into gear and he's not there yet. He made a few runs in behind and wasn;t spotted but I'd like him to be a bit braver running at them. Maybe he's afraid of getting cut in half.

We look like we're going to concede another: we are not at all solid from set-pieces or when balls are swung into the box.

Hudd - the worst set pieces this season, why is he allowed to take them? This isn't a one-game thing, it's been going on for a while now.

Lennon - need to get him into the game more: time and again he's made runs in behind but no one could spot him in time.

Positives:

Parker - more of those forward passes, they're quite good.

We look like we're going to score again.

Stoke look like they'll have a man sent off if they keep roughing up our players for no apparent reason, which would somehow be a perfect, perfect way to commemorate 150 years.

Good game by Kevin Friend so far, hope it continues.

Come on you Spurs!

Yep. One of our most influential when he's at full throttle, but as you say, always seems to him a while to get to that level.
 
They were playing zonal.. And it is a good example why zonal rarely works.. They overloaded one "zone" with three players against one..

Agree 100% about everything here especially the conceding.
