--OMT-- TOTTENHAM vs Notlob

It's only fair they have to call this off. No way the Bolton players can give it their all if they're worried about their friend, not to mention some of the Spurs players are probably friends with Muamba too.

Just hope he is alright, but the reaction of the players would suggest it's a very serious one.

david pleat on five live said VDV was praying on the pitch near him.

no way this can go on.

Sensible thing to call for half time, and then decide if they will call off the game. Which they should and will, if news that the kid is fighting for his life is true. Absolutely shocking.

I think they will abandon the game. BUT and I know it seems insensitive - but if Bolton were not at 1-1 they will have suggested calling it off. ultimately they still have an intention to get to an FA Cup semi final (obviously that doesnt matter right at this moment in time)

Yes, I imagine so

"Former Tottenham boss David Pleat on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra on Fabrice Muamba: "The player just went down - no-one was near him. Straight away the other players knew there was something seriously wrong.""

fudge football. Stop the game. This is someone apparently fighting for his life. That is more important than the game, infinitely more so.

I don't think it can be fair on Bolton to continue. Even if he regains consciousness. Yes, the Spurs players could be effected too but for the Bolton players, this is their team mate.

the only way the game can go on is if muamba makes a huge recovery and everyone is 100% that no damage has been done. did anyone see what was going on, i wasn't watching at the time.

yeah, pretty much mate but respect that your honest and you really do speak your mind / truth

Should without a doubt be called off. Any football or result will just be overshadowed by thoughts turning to Muamba. The poor guy, wish him all the best and hope for a full recovery
