OMT - Tottenham Vs Aston Villa

Good win v a good side. Went a bit wonky midway through the 2nd half and midfield was too open allowing Villa onto our back 4 easily but overall a lot better.
Some of the passing and movement was great, chose the wrong option quite often but a deserved win.

Couldnt find a stream earlier but doesnt sound like a missed too much.

That said, if it was full time in each of our, Leicesters and West Ham games now, it would be a useful day for us

fudging yes. Dier was an absolute colossus today. MOTM by a mile. Romero and Emerson are players. They were excellent.

Really good game. A little tinkled at Nuno coz their goal was coming but fair play, we responded the right way. Harry is still off it but he’ll hit form eventually.

Three points, we move on.

Very exciting and fun to watch today. Thought we’d win it still when it went 1-1 and didn’t expect us to do so so soon.

Played more like Spurs then I’ve seen this season.

Key to whether we can still push for champions league is to not change this approach against the top sides. That really is a huge sticking point which I think will define Nuno’s tenure.

We’ve got a decent team but if we try and stop teams from scoring, we’re inherently inconsistent, so will be exposed each time.

Embrace that inconsistency a little bit, focus on attack like we did today and we’d put in better showings in future big clashes...
