How do you propose we use Bale's best attributes (bursting past a defender) in a 4-3-3? Equally, how else do we solve the problem of him being triple marked all game?

In an ideal world where one defender lined up against each of our forwards I'd play Bale left wing too, but teams won't do that because they're not stupid. You can't triple mark a left back though.

You can explain all you want. It's wrong. Bale at left wing and the whole world knows it.

Great play on the right and Bale did enough (which some of our other players need to do more often). We absolutely needed that because starting to look a bit desperate and leggy. Now to see if Dempsey and Ade can add some impetus?
 
In terms of options AVB needs another window. I still expect some significant changes through the market (assuming Levy will help him out). Great goal by Defoe.
