I suppose BAE must be injured. He hasn't been great so far this season, but as he is not even on the bench, it must be injury or illness.
I can only assume that Adebayor is very unfit. Otherwise he really should have played. Defoe, however, might actually do a bit better away from home where he gets more space to work with. He was better at Saudi Sportswashing Machine than in the two homes games.
Sigurdsson needs to improve. I can understand that Dempsey doesn't start though. Not much of a preseason, and trips to the US and Jamaica over the last couple of weeks.
 
It's annoying, when Harry didn't rotate people were begging for it. Now AVB names Naughton and people are slating him. BAE might be injured or just getting a rest, but rotation is so important for our season and our player's development.

Shame Ade, Dempsey arent playing as we couldve stuck some crosses in under the bar early on to test the lads nerves
 
but Ade barely had a pre season last year and yet he came in and starting scoring right away

AVB trying to be clever i guess and is making a point to Levy to stop fcuking about with last minute signings

Getting tired of saying it, but that's why you get deals done as soon as possible. We have to play catch up every season. You can't just give points away at the start of the season when your fighting for top 4, because as we found out last season, every point counts.

you are right, but unfortunately thems the breaks at the moment and not something the manager can do much about
 
AVB has just said on Sky that Friedel will be No. 1 in the Premier League. Sounds a little more permanent than just today, and also suggests that Lloris for Lazio.

Im with AVB if he has been dropped. He never has had any real competition for his place and has far too many lapses in concentration,hes been very poor this season and Naughton is a good full back.....
