Scara, that was clearly a penalty. Lamela tapped his back foot which tripped him, I have had it done to me, it happens in the blink of an eye. Lamela knew, there was no complaint from him.

Of course Mane will be off if he does one more high tackle, but I'm not sure that will help, as they will then sit deep.

Contact doesn't mean a foul and neither does it mean he was tripped. He fell because he kicked his own foot - he moved his leg sideways to do so despite getting no sideways contact from Lamela whatsoever.

International break can't come soon enough. Given the performances, only taking 4 points from the 3 games isn't an injustice

I was not looking forward to this season at all. Last year was our one chance to win it, we will be lucky to break the top 6 this year.
 
This is exactly the time we need leadership on the pitch. It feels like the Saudi Sportswashing Machine game, where heads go down, and players start to make rash decisions.
 
I'd bring on Winks and Son for Wanyama and Eriksen. This performance is desperate and just hoping that it improves doesn't really make sense. We've got to try to make something happen

edit: frankly you could take any of the team off, bar Vorm and Janssen. Alli has been really crap today, as has Lamela
