Not this whole people not understanding Bale and Lennon on opposite wings thing again.
The point of tradional wingers is to cross the ball into a tall striker.
We don't have one of those.
There's no point bale and lennon crossing the ball into the leeds penalty area.
So they are playing opposite flanks:
- to cut inside play through balls into demspey and siggy to run onto.
- to cut inside and run through the defence causing havoc.
- or occasionally cutting inside to shoot on their favoured foot.

We are dominating every aspect of this match bar the obvious. We are dwelling on the ball too long in the final third, it needs to be released quicker. Worrying signs of Hollywood from Bale again too.
But we have scored goals from low crosses in the box, or pull backs from both Lennon and Bale when playing on their natural wing. I get why AVB does it, but I think they look so much more comfortable attacking down their natural side.
Because Parker is more advanced than Huddlestone for some reason. He was the same when he partnered Modric too, just got forward for some reason and he's poor in the final third.
We need to sign a striker ...
As we have all been aware for some time. Dempsey was flicking ball onto no one your up sodding front pal!!!
Stick on Dawson and play Verts up top
You know it's bad when people want us to bring Obika on
Playing them on opposite flanks has worked before, we've scored many goals from it.
But no one mentions it except when we are losing.
