****OMT - TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs LAZIO**********

That game scared me. We nearly lost some players to injury (notably Bale) and whilst watching the game with a QPR fan he was excited by the idea of Bale being unavailable on Sunday.

Now do you guys begin to see my point?

I really enjoyed that game tonight. People paid money to see the first team.

We've got a good squad, we'll be fine on Sunday.

Very good performance by Spurs tonight with Lennon, Naughton and Defoe all performing very well indeed.

You would have thought that one of our three disallowed goals would have stood.

I'm expecting another strong lineup at Panathinaikos, but some more youngsters at Carlisle.

Just happy we've kept our first clean sheet. Lazio are a good side and hopefully we will start to be more confident of keeping teams out in the last 10 minutes of games.

Bring on QPR.

Very early in his career, but I've not been impressed by Siggurdson at all yet. Only a cameo stint today but he offered nothing. Dempsey was poor tonight, but at least we know he has it in his locker.
Dempsey poor?Blimey you're hard to please. Thought he won quite a lot of possession, beat his man quite often and passed the ball well. No one really stood out but for me was one of our best tonight.

Not sure where all the negativity is coming from.

For years we've been unable to break down defensive teams, yet today we scored three times (at least two of which should have counted) against a team that is excellent at defending. Whilst the three points we earned would have been nice to have, we're definitely moving in the right direction.
Is this a genuine post?

Good game, if it wasn't for the ref we would've won. I think we played well, especially as it's in games like these Italian thrives.

One of the best teams in Serie A playing like they did and people wonder why I fudging hate Italian football.

very impressed with caulker

This, reminiscent of The King. Comfortable in the air, confident in his ability, decent turn of pace, reads the game well - long way to go before he can take the crown but a very good prospect. No problem with him being near the first XI

They will be overtaken by both the French and Portuguese leagues on the UEFA rankings in 2-3 years.

What is people's problem? It's the same names that come out and be negative. We played the serie a league leaders, we kept a clean sheet. We had 2 perfect goals disallowed so should have actually won. We dominated the game from beginning to end and gave debut starts to Dempsey and lloris, and introduced caulker.

Sandro, Verthongen, lloris, dembele and Naughton were all excellent and no one played badly. HOW CAN YOU MOAN!?

It does continue to show that Defoe struggles up top, swap him for ade and I think we'd be frightening

Good post. I thought we moved the ball about brilliantly. Sure Lennon should have taken his shots but we did enough to win. Gutted for Caulker.

I still maintain that we need a striker that can work the ball around the box.
