We were at the back of Block 50 today in the Paxton and it was great to hear fans really trying to get chants going in what has previously been a quiet area to say the least.

More of the same v Southampton and Sunderland please, dont need to worry about next week at the DW because you know you are going to get a cracking atmosphere at an awayday

errm. he was on the line on the left and was moving across to the right behind Lloris so if he was beat he could clear off the line. I swear they get paid to spout brick.
 
Is there any chance that we threw this away deliberately so that Spurs can with the 4th spot?

Because I'm struggling to find a better explanation for the total capitulation by players and manager in the second half. It's almost like we deliberately didn't adjust to the changes by AVB. Surely Mancini isn't THAT clueless.

Edin Dzeko isn't good enough. I'm sure somebody will reply with stats proving he is, but I have eyes and he is not good enough to play in this team. What did he offer today? Adebayor got a lot of stick, but Dzeko was no better today.

So happy for AVB and the players. Hopefully this habit of US getting late goals will keep all our (i.e. fans AND players) belief to keep going right until the last whistle.

That two consecutive home games now when we've been losing and substitutions have led to late goals. Hopefully more trust by us in AVB, especially at home.

I do think bluemoon is a very good board though, but obviously any football forum will have plenty of idiots posting on it.
 
I love the way their fans and manager moan about a thin squad and not getting their targets in, the ****s have spent £1.25bn on the project in the last 3-4 years

Reading through a couple of the match reports this morning - i must have been pretty tinkled yesterday because all i keep reading is about a City masterclass for 70 minutes before an out of nowhere turn around by Spurs.

Never felt to me like we were out of the game at any point and at half time everyone was confident that we'd get something from out of it.

Exactly this, a Emirates Marketing Project masterclass er no, I did think they were that brilliant really, some good footie but to be expected with the team they have brought but we always had a sniff it was only 1-0 not 3-0
 
I agree with Arcy I thought Benny was shockingly bad yesterday, he made Millner look like Ronaldo at times
 
Ekotto got to grips with Milner after a couple of issues including the goal, where you could blame Parker, Vertonghen, Ekotto and Walker.

There was one bit where Milner won a corner as Benny tried to see the ball out. And then yes the tackle was dangerous. But he didn't get sent off.

He was quick to the ball, often intercepted, had good distribution and the only one who showed any composure when bringing it out from the back. Second half in particular was good, got some decent crosses in too. Didn't see Milner in the second half

It looked to me like they came with a plan. Let's call it Plan A. Executed it very well. Prevented us playing and played pretty well themselves. I said at half time we needed to find a way to disrupt their plan. Which we did. Quite spectacularly. And they appeared to have no Plan B!
