OMT ***Tottenham Hotspur vs Emirates Marketing Project***

The England winger? They talking about Azza too?

Yes, I missed a couple of lines in between all the pictures of Bale. The Mail is a horrible excuse for a newspaper and the online version is just awful, riddled with videos and flash animation, but they do have the best coverage of football.

I'd much rather they were all fit for Chelsea. Will be tough away at Stamford Bridge and that really could be THE game

As each fixture passes its looking more like Eastlands 2010 all over again, even moreso if Liverpool and then United can beat them

Liverpool, United, Everton and Us in their last six games. In close succession sandwiched between european fixtures.

Something will give. We just have to make sure we do our part.

I'm ever hopeful Basel don't throw it away in the first leg.

Would mean Basel => United => Us within 7 days.

Liverpool - Nothing to play for
United - Will probably be champions by then, could be coming off big celebrations, but still they are United
Spurs - Direct rivals
Swansea - Nothing to play for, been on holiday for a while now
Aston Villa - Fighting for their lives
Everton - Direct rivals (could be out of contention by then)

Emirates Marketing Project - Nothing to play for, but still they are City and you have no Lennon nor Bale
Wigan - Fighting for their lives, they rise at this stage of the season
Southampton - Nothing to play for
Chelsea - Direct rivals
Stoke - Fighting for their lives
Sunderland - Fighting for their lives and are now playing hard and with a lot of passion

Not a lot of difference. Europea League does make things a bit different, but they're not travelling too far for the semi.

I could see Chelsea winning both or at the very least beating Liverpool.

I think we may rue our inferior goal difference. I would be more optimistic if we had a fit Lennon and Bale

Liverpool have lots to play for. They have the 'Merseyside' title to think about, also it's the return of a club hero. Rafa Benitez.

Fergie would also love to get one over on Benitez too, they do not get on very well at all.

As for Spurs, it's yet to be seen whether or not we have a Lennon or Bale for City, and i'd back us to get a draw at home without them anyway.

If our defence has been sorted out after this ten day break i wouldn't be surprised if we win.

Who was the bright spark on this forum that we did not need any more wingers because most teams do not play with two wingers. Well fudge most teams, over the past few years we have looked a better team when playing with pace down the flanks. Sig is a good player, I really like him, but he ain't no winger

As long as our defence has been sorted out by this ten day break.

You mean that that defense that has been leaking goals live a sieve, do not hold your breath. Looking at their two strikers up front and Yaha in midfield I would be stunned, happlily so, if we got a draw. You say you back us for a draw, are you ready to put money on it? I would not.

Without Lennon and Bale I would be surprised if we got a hammering reminiscent of the thumping they gave us last season. I just hope I am proved wrong

What really irritates me is that from being 7 points clear of the Goons we are now in a situation whereby we could win all of our remaining matches and still finish fifth due to our dodgy goal difference. Chelsea could lose to us and win their remaining games and we are fukked while the Goons just need to match our results to finish above us.

Er.....if we win all our remaining, including the game in hand we have over Arse now, we will finish above them, and hence at least 4th.

If we win all our remaining games we will finish 1 point ahead of them irrespective of their results = 4th at least

I doubt Mancini will risk Aguero or Silva in what is a pretty pointless game for them. I'd be shocked if we see their best lineup especially when they have a cup final coming up and they will want to keep their players fit.
