May sound a bit crazy but I think Defoe on for Dempsey rather than Ade and we'd of drew that game. We were lumping balls up there when Ade was off and well, it was coming straight back at us.

Highlighting a single incident to prove your point. Huddle stone was lost all game , bale and Lennon anonymous. Adebayor won and retained the ball on numerous occasions and was presented with stationary team mates. To blame him is incredibly short sighted when he's the only player that demonstrated an ounce of class (excluding Sandro who was solid). Most of you here wanted a 442 without Sandro LOL

I'm not convinced he has a position. At Fulham he almost had a free role

H reminds me of Cahill from Everton in that you look at the goals he scores but you couldn't fit him in your team.

Make no mistake I was really happy we signed him by he is getting starts he really doesn't deserve now and that's still early in the season to say that

we have pretty much been playing 4411 all season - Bale and Lennon have rarely played as you would expect natural wide forwards in a 4231 to play, both with and without the ball.

I must admit , that cheered me up . I love fantasy stories , 3421, 4222, 4132, how about the fact they scored the perfect goal to win the game
 
No surprise that Bale and Lennon didn't look threatening today. You saw how comfortable we were in 4-4-2 on Thursday, Bale and Lennon run ragged. They get the ball more, we suit getting the ball into the box with 2 men in there. I have no doubt if we had played 4-4-2 today we'd of seen the best of both Bale and Lennon. Would we of won? fudge knows, but we'd of had that mentality of you score 4 and we'll fudging score 5.

It's amusing to watch kaboul beastly as he is charging down the wing. But his crossing isn't really up to it.

Most of you? Do not involve me in other people's opinions.

You are talking like i said it was Ade's fault for the loss? I did not say that i said his decision making was poor and you come out on the defensive. I think he played brick you obviously didn't, lets leave it at that?

All you get on here is people trying to change your opinion to agree with them. Bit silly really.

We concede possession because no one can keep it effectively. Ade helped with that today; brought it down, kept it well. When Dembele comes back, we'll have someone capable of shielding the ball and carrying it forward at pace.

When those two are fully up to speed, we'll do much better than what we currently put out.

We certainly need Dembele back, what a horrific record we have without him.

You mean like a discussion. On a discussion board. Yup. That sounds pretty silly really.
 
Look I'm no tactical expert but we seem to concede a lot of late goals and I can't help thinking it's because AVB seems to invite pressure onto our defence towards the end of the game with our subs. Would it not have been better to keep Ade on bearing in mind he was our best player and bring on defoe. Ade plays quite deep and is like an extra man in midfield. After all the negative tactic seems to fail week after week. I'll give AVB one thing he is stubborn.
