As long as they don’t all end up on the same plate, go for the lot.
Not a fan of that sub. Minimal will stick imo and they can now squeeze right up on us as our out ball had gone.
I would have gone Sanchez into a 5. Eriksen/Wanyama/Dele in midfield.

Thing we need to solve ASAP is what we do on turnover. Last few times in that half we gave it straight back to them. Some composure and we can score again on the break.

I'm grimly resigned to losing, which will make it hurt less when we do. Or at least, I'm trying to be - this fudging team keeps giving me hope despite that.
No way we won't concede one or more in the second half - question is, can we score again?
£100 on city pays out £56 for them to qualify. Call in insurance and put a few hundred on it, if we go through you really wont care trust me.

I'd of risked Skipp and left it as it was.
With no Fernandinho they don't pick up between the lines ...easy to get it to Dele or Eriksen then Sonny or Moura are off to the races.

Got mildly excited at 2-1, and for a few seconds began to believe we might actually do it. Now I am just clock watching and praying, but knowing the inevitable will happen

Sub Dele for Davies. Get Rose on the left of midfield and Son back in the middle, Moura on the right, Eriksen and Wanyama in centre mid. Son was killing them in the centre of the pitch, if he can get his hat-trick then we can go through.
Son and Moura were good, everyone else was fairly sh1te to be honest, but we are actually winning the tie as it stands. So deep breath, the next 45 minutes is a game all on it's own. And we don't even need to win, just draw it and we're good.

We’re down to the bare bones in CM. I wouldn’t be taking one off!

Lucky deflection for the equaliser, and the free kick before their 3-2 goal looked extremely cheap.
We don't look as sharp as I'd like us to be tonight, and losing Sissoko was a blow - although he didn't look his best up until that injury. We have to regroup and rethink our tactics, because they have too much of the ball and look likely to score more goals. I think we'll need to score at least another to go through.
Moura and Eriksen need to get more involved. Dele has to up his game, and our full backs need to do better, Trippier especially. There's much room for improvement.
