Tripper can fudge off, how can he not pick out a target there. Nearly cost us a goal, Eriksen covering defensively, massive performance from him.

Well not a bad first half. But plenty of room for improvement. Need to take advanatge of City not playing at their usual attacking gung-ho style

we know that walker is a brainfart waiting to happen we have to be aware to take advantage

gonna be a tight second half, we MUST take our chances and keep on shutting them out
 
Wow, didn't expect that kind of performance. I expected us to be under the kosh and scraping a lucky goal at best, but my word, we've been magnificent!
 
We've played pretty well first half, can't fault the effort. Potentially a vital penalty save from Lloris.

We didn't manage to score ourselves though, and it feels like we don't have much more to give. But City have De Bruyne and Sane on the bench which can really change things for them.

I'm glad we have pressed them and unsettled them in a disciplined way. If we can keep a clean sheet and nick a goal, then we have a chance in the 2nd leg and that's all we can ask for from the players.

Uhhh we've nullified them. It's not like they've just decided not to play well.. We've set up brilliantly, pressed them into submission and mostly dominated play. Don't underestimate how solid that first half was.

As I said earlier, we just need a goal or two to show for it now.

The Walker point is a good one. We know that him and Rose have the same make up - at least one major brain fart per match. We have to expect it and be ready for it.
 
Also, is VAR not for reviewing stuff like Fernandinho on Kane? That should have been a yellow at least, maybe even VAR is blind to Fernandinho, cheating qunt that he is.

Wouldn’t go anywhere near that far. We’ve been decent after a dopey start. Sissoko looking good. Winks needs to get into it more for me. Look slightly off up top but it it clicks, it’ll give us a goal.

Hugo...this is why I love you despite the fudge ups.
 
They will bring on sane and he will rip us a new one of we let our pressing stop or slow down.

Need to get the first goal and after that I could see us get another one or two
