I'm thinking that it is great to have a number 10 that can have 50 touches in a half of football. What I'm wondering though is whether we're becoming too predictable by only playing through Madds? Are we losing some of the direct wing play we had last weekend?

We have not conceded but that defence does not look convincing. Van Heck seems to get himself isolated and done for pace on a regularly basis.

Great performance from Madders. Really need more from the front 3. Marmoush is not in the game at all, and not offering any options for Robertson when he has the ball. Kudus hasn't been as bad but could offer more as well. Solanke being Solanke...

Seems playing the 3 CB’s quite clever, they seem to want to launch everything long into our box

they are being successful at it though worryingly, winning around half of those, their xG is already almost 0.5, thats a lot for one half

We miss having a left back who can run with the ball, I'd honestly play VDV there when Udogie is injured. We look a threat on the right with Van Hecke breaking the lines with his passing and Kudus but as soon as it goes out to Robertson on the left it's usually slow and just plays the ball backwards.

As a side note, I really enjoy watching Tonali - he's everywhere and really has began bossing the midfield of late....
