***OMT*** Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea

We were like a team of Charlie Adams' by the end, I did not like that at all.

And we're still fighting by the tunnel.

We will get done for all this, rightly so.
I'm quite glad to see our players show some fight for a change. Sick of us playing pretty football but getting rolled over year after year. Hopefully these youngsters learn to channel their aggression as cynically as the ManU team of old though.

Lost our heads a bit but at least we showed some backbone. Better than rolling over like we've done all too often. We'll learn.

fudging state of Chelsea playing out time at 2-2. Should be ashamed of themselves. Never did I want to score more than the last 5 mins to shut those chavs up. Laughable small time mentality.

Even if we had beaten Chelsea does anyone seriously think Chelsea would have beaten Leicester in the last game.
I'm more concerned about hanging on to second if we have half our team injured or retrospectively banned.

yeah. not really covered ourselves in glory tonight. christ knows which players will be eligible for the final games. i think we'll finish behind arsenal now.

that level of indiscipline is really quite shocking. quite a poor reflection on everything we've been trying to build all season.

In reality LC were never going to lose again Everton, i am still proud of this team..

This. I find it hilarious that Chelsea are celebrating the way they are. A load of glory hunters who've gone back to where they belong - midtable obscurity.

And we managed to take the title down to the last few games of the season. Have no idea when the last time we did so was but it shows the progress that has been made.

Now to focus on wrapping up the runner up position that will see us go in as second seeds for the CL next season.

bringing on mason was a weird one. if youre bringing someone on to play in advanced role, shouldnt it be someone who can actually kick the ball towards the goal?

obviously not masons fault the weve bottled the last two games, but it was a pretty pivitol moment, and there is no player on the pitch i would have had less faith in than mason, besides maybe hugo, to finish the chance. the fudgeing guy is pony.
I think two players for each role is acceptable.

Alli was out so we were already playing plan b. Son tired and was off the pace so we had to do something.

I'd rather have a better option than Mason but he was 3rd choice.

Aaand that was that ! Only caught the second half, but we looked 2nd best, and our one telling chance we couldn't put away.

Well done to Leicester, they have been clinical and ground out wins, we will need to learn to do that.

Happy with a draw, but we need to beat Southampton - which we can do next weekend.

COYS !!!

We will also get a fine for failing to control our players.

Chelski going for the draw. How pathetic. Didn't expect much more from them tonight though. Classical classless performance from their players and fans.

You gotta admit how they have gathered so many players so good at the dark arts though. All those little kicks and digs behind the ref's back, the shirt pulls, the hidden elbows and winding up. They are the best at that.

Well - a point at their place is good, all things consisered. Shame we couldn't capitalise on that good first half. Overall, from chances and pressure, a fair result. If we take the cheating and the poor refereeing out of the picture.

Now let's get our brick back together and secure second place.

Pure frustration at our capitulation. They all wanted it. But were not mentally in the right place.

One key older players could make a big difference. Someone to steady the team with a bit of experience. A Davids, or a natural leader above 26. We lacked some composure.

Sigh. Clattenburg was absolutely bent and probably paid off, but truth be told, we saw the exact same thing last week at home.

Second half, every ball went to a blue shirt, every Spurs tackle was fruitless, we bounced off their players, and we lost our heads. This was a mental battle we lost, again.

Leicester are deserved champions, but I never particularly cared about that. I'm quite happy with the point as well.

But the way we lost a two-goal lead, the way we were *scared*, terrified, backpedalling, utterly without our heads....I'm shocked by that. More because of how strong this team has been throughout the season up to this point.

Mentally, we have lost it. Finishing above Arsenal is the priority now. And three points should guarantee that, which should be our aim. On the plus side, we can play with less pressure against Soton and Saudi Sportswashing Machine; on the other hand, if Saudi Sportswashing Machine have survival to play for, they will try as hard as West Brom and Chelsea tried, and we can't deal with that at the moment - we will lose or draw if that happens.

We lack composure/bottle/whatever for these big moments. I think we need a Plan B as a team, to be able to soak up pressure and play on the counter for a 0-2 lead. Leicester would have held out tonight and that is the difference, that's why they are champions.

Congratulations to them, it's an amazing achievement.

More than the loss of the title challenge as I felt that was gone. But I badly wanted to beat the blue scum at their own ground.

All I want now is for us to secure finishing above the filth. Lets beat Southampton and secure it. Secure second. Get some good signings in the summer as we are guaranteed Champions league. More money from the TV to pay the wages of the players we have. And champions league income. WE can progess from here a lot.
