Maybe I just got really bored but I really don't remember any great saves their keeper made? Regarding deserved, it's just to say if that ball hadn't flicked off Kane's head perfectly we weren't exactly scoring otherwise.

That game looked very much like whoever scored first was winning, but that's just my view. On another day it ends as a 0-0 with neither team really creating much of real consequence.

But all irrelevant, not trying to be a downer on a win. That's all that matters at the end of the day, we ground out a win in non ideal circumstances and in another below par performance. Shows great strength and mental fortitude.

I'm a big believer that new signings need half a season of training at the highest level. Even more so in highly tactical systems and in CM positions.

We are at the high end of the hardest league there is - the tiny margins win and lose.

So you know thats the reason Conte has had issue with him? That the rhetoric part

Plenty who have played more have played worse so if that was the case, in the case of fairness, he would have had problems with alot of others.

As I say, lets judge it for what it was, his 2nd start in 12.........
