OMT *** Tottenham Hotspur vs AFC Richmond/Crystal Palace - Sunday 27th October 14:00 ***

Good morning, chaps,

It's a gorgeous, cool, crisp autumn day here in Toronto, the trees still holding some of their yellow and red leaves, the rising sun turning everything a warm gold tone. Which only enhances the afterglow I'm feeling having watched that life-affirming El Classico yesterday. Barca with a thumping 4-0 win in Madrid, playing the sort of dangerous high line Ange would adore. Just imagine Spurs playing Barca - two defensive high lines 35 or more metres from goal, about 20 players jammed into a tightly compacted midfield. Through balls galore and a track meet to catch them.

Having watched one teenaged player - Yamal - run riot for Barca, I'm hoping we get to see our teenage sensation, Mikey Moore.

Good to see Moore in. That was a great 15 mins after half time on Thursday - spells like that make him worth the ticket price alone. Hopefully he can do some similar things today.

Big call on Sarr v Maddison. Good to see Ange just hasn’t thrown Madders to the wolves. They’re different players and bring different things so Ange obviously thinks Madders’ attributes are better suited to this game. Let’s hope he’s right.

Great to see Moore starting. I didn`t think Ange would start him today. Will be interesting to see our lineup for wednesday in the cup against Emirates Marketing Project. We need a lot of rotation as we have a run of tough games coming up

Would be lovely, but we don't have the players to do that.

But so glad Barca beat Madrid, what a great win.

Looked like he picked up a knock in the AZ game
Really?

Well that is shyte, as he looked good.

Well in that case, I really hope that Werner get the chance to and kill some of his issues. As I don't think Moore will get the chance to do a full 90. So he should get a chance.

COYS, lets get up in the mixing pot with the other big boys, a good away performance will go a long way to maintaining confidence

Even if Ange had started Sarr ahead of Maddison I think it would be hyperbolic to describe it as throwing Maddison to the wolves. Not only did Ange say Maddison played well against West Ham in the first half, he also started on Thursday.

I just like the fact that we have a manager who is brave enough to sub a star player at half time when he thinks the balance of the team is not right, but also at the same time start a 17 year old in away from home in the league.
