*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Wolverhampton Wanderers ***

Conte had Romero in a pretty good place to be fair.

Ange has made Maddison very consistent since about a year ago.

These players will look a lot better under a new manager.

Playing dirge football and then he left questioning the teams desire, not convinced that is good argument.

Maddison has never been consistent, can't put that on Ange. First red flag for me on Ange was even wanting to sign maddison.

Players looking better, I've been hearing that for four managers now.

None are also as bad as people are making out. Like I said in my other post, these players after 2 years of coaching are not making 4 mistakes in this game because they are purely "sh1t" as others are making out.
I mean, how can you take the best players out of "lesser" teams and make the worse than they were when they left? I'd argue that the only players on a steady positive trajectory are Spence and Bergvall. Solanke, while a somewhat underwhelming signing, started like a world beater and now looks like an industrious championship player. Richy has never impressed me and probably never will, except from in social media. Sarr has gone from Wanyama to Sissoko. Vicario went from steady hands to no hands. Don't even get me starting on Maddison.

We have become a team which is much poorer than the sum of it's parts, the opposite of what a team like us without limitless funds would like.

I don't really rate Tel but look at the kids face at the end of every game, they look utterly lost out there, devoid of any leadership on and off the pitch

Look at some of them and their eyes, they look close to tears 90% of the time, their mistakes are not coming from over playing or being roostery, its mistakes from fear, its nearly every game, fcuk it is every game.
I think their mistakes come form being dumb decision makers
When they do it for their country too it’s not just coaching

We are absolutely rudderless.
How we got here will remain a topic of conversation on this forum quite possibly for several years, but here we are, rudderless. The manager is unable to affect games and unwilling to compromise his 'ideals' for points, the players seem estranged from each other (as though they haven't met), the enthusiasm to play has deserted us, the team 'leaders' lost their compasses months ago...it says something when you can look back and say that at CB this season, Archie Gray has looked more defensively solid than Cristian Romero.
Ange has gone whatever happens IMO...

If you think as a GK playing behind this system for as many games would be a confidence booster for you to play your best football......then GHod help you mate

Rudderless on and off the pitch and up above too seemingly.

What a time to be alive

Why on earth is he still here though is the question.

It genuinely feels like corruption now. It's got well beyond incompetence. It's like someone is shorting us to make some money out of this.

Different players though in the main. Ange has changed the playing staff quite considerably.

I actually hold a huge -and I mean HUGE- amount of contempt and anger towards Levy, Munn, and Lange. Their 'stewardship' during Ange's time here has been every bit as naive as the manager's, and they have consistently left Ange out to dry/take the brick/suck it up. For me, unless there is a serious shift in the supportive footballing roles, we will continue to make the same mistakes and go nowhere beyond being a talent generator.
