It looks like Townsend will be playing on the left. I wonder if Poch has identified a weakness there or is just rotating.

i think rotating, but who knows it might turn out to be a good decision by chance. Hopefully because he will be on his left foot he will deliver more first time crosses. I remember on Thurs Bentaleb at one moment having a go at Townsend for not whipping in a first time cross whilst on the right side and on his right foot.

Of late Towsend's work rate has been impressive. Wet Spam are an energetic, rough lot and hopefully Townsend can put in a shift and make an impact.
 
Think Poch has got the balance right between resting players and looking to win not just all four of the games leading up to and including the final but also the two in the week after it. I think he's working on the basis that no-one can start all six games, max 4 or 5. I'm expecting Bentaleb, Verts and perhaps Walker to get a rest in Florence
 
Interesting that Dier is preferred over Fazio, I may get shot down but Dier over Fazio for me.

rotation. Personally I would have played Dier on Thurs and Fazio today

Might well see Dier and Fazio at CB on Thurs
