+++ OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Sunderland 12th April 2026 +++

Porro was our most creative player. A fudging right back. And a right back who put a ball in the Wear with no pressure on him at the end.

That’s shocking. Xavi has to play until Maddison or Deki reappear. We haven’t a hope of scoring enough goals to stay up otherwise.

Xavi, Bergvall, and Gray feeding Tel, Solanke and Richy ... More chance of stringing 5 passes together

Romero was fudging dreadful today. The booking is as stupid a tackle as you’ll see. No need to make it. He could (not saying should) have gone went he went through their lad and caught him in the back of the head.

Romero has such talent but he’s a macaron. I’d rather Danso.
He doesn't have talent where it matters. He is talented ON the ball. His tackling, marking, concentration and intelligence are championship standard. Hence we were 17th last season and 18th this.

There was signs today that if he was given, say the 4 games those clams in charge gave Tudor, we could have been ok
Yeah, look, I’m not angry at the manager. He’s just in the door. Just thought the performance not only lost us 3 points but there wasn’t much to hang your hat on.

The board have had one last roll of the dice. The only lever available to them. This is now us until the end of the season and, based on today, you’d say they may have left it too late.

I think we’ll be cast adrift after next week. 4 or 5 points. We’ll be played off the park by Brighton.

Leeds home to Wolves. Forest home to Burnley.

West Ham will probably get something at Palace.

Yip. As a first game in charge I was completely underwhelmed by the performance. It lacked energy or urgency.

We are rotten to the core.
Played a bad hand poorly in my opinion which is really concerning. We didn't seriously trouble the Sunderland defence. Solanke had no chance being so isolated. Xavi did the square root of nothing.

That's two chances.... You said enough chances. If we count those then Sunderland could have 5 to 8 chances, if not more - and they were better chances

We're the away team in the bottom 3. I counted 4 good ones we created.

I think that's an acceptable number to expect a goal.

It was a nothing game, but we created 3 very good chances in the first half

2 Richi and 1 solanke - one of those should have been a goal.

Richi then had 2 more chances which he fluffed.

They started to create more once we went behind.

The board are cowards on every level

Bergvall is an impact sub atm not a starter. Start Xavi or push Gallagher ( I know you are not a fan) into the number 10 role and play two strikers in the middle. I would have Palhinha and Gray as the deepest 2 to give solidity. Muani should be no where near the first team FFS. Push Porro into a more advanced position and play Spence or another behind him.
