+++ OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Sunderland 12th April 2026 +++

What we get to find out is why RDZ gets paid the big bucks. In an ideal world, Kinsky would come in, keep a clean sheet and get MOTM.

That script is unfortunately not in keeping with our season though. Perhaps the football gods have finished having a laugh at our expense and will give us a break.
In keeping with our season: De Zerbi catches Kinsky sending rooster photos to his wife and knocks him out in the changing room 5 minutes before we go out. He then quits football on the spot to concentrate on his family. Austin takes charge of the game as player manager and subs himself off after a 15 minute horror show during which we concede 5. Romero is sent off. Someone does their ACL.

Only way I see him being used effectively is as the most advanced of a midfield 3 or in the 10. He is good at pressing and making late runs into the box, as well as being an extra defender. But anything on build up we might as well have Dragusin playing Centre Mid.
Interested to see if it happens.

Kinsky, Austin
Porro, Spence, Udogie, Souza
Romero, VDV, Danso, Dragusin
Gray, Bissouma, Bergvall, Sarr, Gallagher, Olusesi
Xavi, Tel Solanke, Richarlison, RKM

19 players for 18 spots. If he puts in Olusesi & Souza over an “established” player it will be a big statement.

Game tonight is massive psychologically for us too
If the Hammers win and I think they will we will be in the bottom three come 2pm Sunday
I hope we can deal with that added pressure too

Yea Gallagher’s best position is in the 10, really hope he’s not played any deeper than that. Would be a good player to come on for Xavi in the last 20 minutes, hopefully to hold a lead…

That only works if we are protecting a lead (a chance would be a fine thing). Its the Lamela role - an attacking player switch for a defensive purpose. Just throw some chaos at their backline

I would love to see someone use Gallagher effectively, so maybe this is the moment.

View from the lane pod mentioned that Hoijberg was one of RDZ's fav players at Marseille and they're fairly similar so he might do well.

I think being away first up is good for us, Sunderland are decent but not outstanding and definitely beatable and haven't been that great at home recently.

Don’t think they are that similar tbh.

Came across well to me. He seems very positive that this set of players suits his needs which is great. Name checked Simons and Tel (who he said he tried to sign for Marseille) more than once and said Kolo Muani is a better player than he has shown.

I'm getting positive vibes from him, let's get behind him and do this. COYS....

Agreed.
Impressive presser and he said the right things for my ears currently. I think he has a keen grasp on what is needed.

This is now very much MUST WIN. No excuses. Only three points will do. It pretty much was that before tonight but it most definitely is now.

I really hope De Zerbi can get a tune out of our team as this is the first time we have been in the relegation zone since 2009 and it’s daunting times.

whatever the method, I think we need 4 wins from 7...big ask...but i think he can get it done (don't ask why, blind belief)

Hope you are right mate. The season feels like it is unraveling like a twisted Greek tragedy. The Goons to win the League in the same season we are relegated and relegated at Stamford bloody Bridge of all places. It will be humiliating but fudge them I’ll support my team whatever happens. But the likes of Vinai and Lange have to go.
