***OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v Southampton***

Our away form has been very patchy in the league this season, we have not won in any of the last 5 away and have struggled to find the net on the road. We have only scored 3 away goals in those 5 games. So, we really need that to turn around tonight, to collect three points and to start becoming more clinical in front of goal. Hopefully the team is ready to go for tonight. Hopefully we score an early goal and we can walk away with a 2-0 win, that would do me!!
 
Wanyama, Vertonghen and Walker are all 1 yellow away from a suspension.
The 5 yellow card cut off date is 31st December so there's just one game to avoid a booking.

I can see Dier starting ahead of Wanyama.
Dier gives up one thing Wanyama will never be capable of, leadership.
Dier is completely unafraid to let any of our players know they aren't performing.
I've never seen Wanyama say anything to any of our players on the pitch.
 
As long as Poch doesnt play 3 CMs, I'm fine with whatever team he puts out but given the results over the last couple days, we really need a win

I know this is the official line but I'm not convinced. Too coincidental for me after a back 'issue' the other day.

Both absentees are likely due to the nerve problem he had imo and I think with them citing a virus we can be pretty sure he will miss the Watford game as well.

Can only hope it needs a little more rest and he will be back for the chelsea game.

Meanwhile the official line of first a back twinge and now a virus keeps the attention of him.
