** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Southampton ** Sunday 15 December 7pm.

NLS

Thimotée Atouba
Tottenham Hotspur V Southapmton

Sunday 15 December 2024, away at their place, kick off at 7pm and live on TNT sport.

I am not saying Ange will pick this team but, with the game against Man U on Thursday MY priority, this is what I would do....

Forster

Spence Dragusin Dorrington Udogie

Sarr

Johnson Kulu Maddison Son

Solanke

My basic thought is to be strong going forward so that we can keep the ball and minimise the pressure on a weakish defence.... Get the game win by the hour mark and then think about resting Kulu, Solanke, Son....

COYS

8 points off Champions League place and 8 points off Relegation place. I know which one is currently of more concern to me.....

Surprised people think we might win this, they might be a poor team but they and their fans haven't turned against themselves so will have the spirit to get at least a draw I'd say. Unity and determination count more than most in football imo and our lot seem to have given up for the time being. Good test of if we are in end times with Ange, I guess. Doesn't seem much point sacking him unless we can get in a manager high up our list of candidates which seems unlikely mid-season.

Fail to win this and we're facing a relegation battle.
Not to spread the joy. But they have only won 1 game. Ipswich and Palace have won 2. And we all know who they beat.
Kind of lines up nicely that we will be the team to give them their 2nd win..........

PLEASE SPURS LET THIS BE OUR GREAT REVIVAL

Everyone had five lge games in the next three weeks - that's a lot of points and movement up for grabs.
We've got:
Soton
Liverpool
Forest
Wolves
Saudi Sportswashing Machine

With the lge being so tight there are going to be a lot of squeaky bums until 5 Jan.
One result could drag anyone into a relegation battle.

I do really worry it'll be us. We've all seen how momentum works - and one win in nine is relegation form.

I do think we'll loose today - Soton are terrible.
We should win unconvincingly to paper over the cracks. Although weirdly I think that might be better than a convincing win, which would create false optimism.

Really dumb this is on TNT - who even knows what that is, let alone pays for it?!

Anyone know how the wetness options work these days?

I was speaking to EE about my mobile phone, and they asked if I had BT broadband at home. I said I did.
They told me I could cut out the landline* and go from £65 to £30/month if I change broadband to EE.

*Which we don't use anyway

They then said that I'd had access to TNT Sports via Discovery Plus via BT Broadband for years, but had never accessed it.

So I now have access to TNT Sports for a month, before they cut it and change me to EE Broadband.

Little tip for those (like me) that just didn't realise.
