John Terry has put on a bit of weight.

What in the name of the OMT gods is this absolute abomination???

Well done, Nelto.

My kind of kick off to proceedings. I'd have bunged in a batch of historical stats and a badger-breeding pic or three. Maybe links to a nice bit of German jazz, too.

You're showing potential.

BTW, I'm reading elsewhere that this new sighning for them, Almiron, isn't eligible to play for them at Wembley. Is this true? Why not?

12:30 Saturday kick-off after a Wednesday evening game, awesome.

Buckle up, this is going to be another difficult game to win with Saudi Sportswashing Machine confidence high after thier victory over City.

2-1

Battle of the "who can cross for the big man to nod in best" award this one.

If we turn up and play the way we played second half against Watford and Sonny starts, which is a big ask of him to be fair, we should be able to outplay this crowd. They have a great manager, but the squad is not all that strong especially in the full back areas. Up top its a bit like Deeney with Mitrovic, he's a battering ram in the air, somewhat like Llorente too.

Barcodes beat city by being bigger in the air at the crucial points and then got lucky when Fernandinho fluffed it. We need to be on the ball at the back, and I would say not a game for Trippier, on current form.

Rondon for Mitrovic these days, but yes.

banana skin .. these northern asshats always seem up for a game with us.

Need to control the game, keep our possession and take out chances (we will make a few).

3 points is all that matters ..

Both Son and Llorente looked absolutely knackered at the end of the game on Wednesday and can't see both starting against Saudi Sportswashing Machine, maybe Llorente but not Son. If Llorente does start would like to see KWP given a chance as right wing back as neither Tripper or Aurier seem able to cross a ball currently. But probably Trippier will return. Sissoko did not really look fully fit on Wednesday so see Dier coming in. So expect to see this team with Son for Llorente and Sissoko for one of the 3 centre backs in the 2nd half;

Lloris
Toby, Sanchez, Vertonghen;
Dier, Winks;
Lucas, Eriksen, Lamela;
Llorente

Subs: Gazza, KWP, Foyth, Skipp, Sissoko, Son

Bit of a bogey team for us at the Lane ( thanks mostly to great keeping performances from Given in the past).
