Isnt it amazing what happens when you keep it simple, put round pegs in round holes, play players in positions that suit them, and drop people that arent performing to give younger, hungrier (and more loyal) players a chance?

A vastly easier match. Give us a bit of room, and we are in our pomp. Kane was terrific in the opening, dropping into midfield to get moves going, and such accurate passing. Shame other teams won't play like this lot!

Kane's movement has been key, combined with Ndombele and Dele. Ndombele is going to be one hell of a player when he fully matures into the Prem.

Start picking players on performance, fitness and nothing else.

Got a bit shaky before the third, though that gifted* goal probably settled the game. Was getting a bit uneasy before Son got his second.

Unfortunately it does seem that way; nobody can defend Poch's decision to play 8 defenders, at home, against the bottom team. And tell them to play it super safe and super slow. And realise later on in that game that we actually need to play some attackers and skill players, to make a goal.
