Welcome back...as one might expect, the greatest football team the world has ever seen have been handed the honour of kicking off the new Premiership season, and as befits, we decided to be generous and share it at Old Trafford with those red monkeys.

Pre-season has shown us to be largely coasting and getting our fitness together. Who knows who might be in and out of the door come kick-off? And who cares! We have enough to surprise them. Their pants might look smart but the stitching is weak, and they'll unravel at the hands of our superb discipline and youthful poachery!

Word of warning to all novices heading up there; might have to leave at 3 am as the majority of their support is from at least 150 miles away and you will likely be jostling for motorway space up the M6.

i think that's pretty much what we'll see, though i think Walker will start ahead of Trippier.

i think we may setup similar to when we played Arsenal away early last season, deep and on the counter although im not sure we have the pace to play that way effectively - United's defense doesn't look formidable on paper so i think we can cause them problems IF we get the ball forward quick enough as i expect their central midfield to be quite defensive, so we'll need to get around the back of them in order to succeed - will be interesting to see how many of their new signings start.
