We need to get to ht at least 1-0 and then we can regroup and try to come back. Looking very shaky at the moment though.
 
Some lovely linkup play from Kane and Eriksen at times, almost like they are just playing as a pair and ignoring the others, very tight areas, pinging it back and forth.
 
Chadli and Eriksen need to help out defensively a bit more.

Harry needs to release the ball quicker too.
 
Our best chances have came from working the ball in the box, this long ball brick is getting us no where.
 
It's a very hot day, we will be tired after playing twice in the week, we need to keep the ball a bit and calm it down
 
Carroll or Alli for Bentaleb. Neither could be any worse. It's as if he thinks this is a 5-a-side game in his backyard.
 
So far its been a story of the DMs. Bentaleb not doing well but Dier had done well up to the goal. But compared to Carrick and Schneiderlin....
 
Dier has been invisible (wasn't present to offer defensive cover when Rooney was free in the box for the goal, and has stayed back when Kane and Eriksen clearly need support in the middle), and that's shown in the horrible game Bentaleb's had so far.

This is what will f*cking happen if we penny pinch like utterly unambitious c*nts all the way up to the start of the season. Still, nothing to be done about it now. Get Alli on for Dier second half, let's see some energy in midfield, the kind we showed for the first fifteen-odd mimutes. COYS!
 
We did OK. 1-0 is no disgrace so far. Good spells. United's best players were Scheiderlin and Memphis, then Jon Moss and then Bentaleb.

Someone tell me... how many chances have Utd had on target?

I thought Dier had some very good passages of play, you can't mention him in terms of the goal, that is just vindictive, where was the rest of the defence if you want to criticise Dier?!
 
Can someone please tell what Ye see in bentaleb ?? Kept my silence but bang average always came to mind .. Woeful passer of ball and has to come off at half time .. No drive , pathetic performance ..at fault for goal and three times lost ball in middle of field in dangerous positions .. Absolutely shocking

Bentaleb has been horrible and it has nothing to do with penny pinching. Are you saying that a different cm partner would have prevented him from passing straight to a red shirt every other time?
 
That boy Darmian is quality. He has totally shut down their right side. It's an even game, but we have more mistakes in us than them and that's going to be the difference, I'm afraid.
 
I've always had the feeling UTD were there to be taken by us the last couple of seasons and we simply either lack the confidence to do it or we just make mistakes and throw it away.

We had a bright start but a second goal for them and we could end up pummeled here.

Lets hope Poch weaves some magic at HT and either sorts out Bentaleb or gets him off.
 
Christ we look so flat after the goal, just standing around with no movement. Bentaleb's attitude spreading through the team.
