***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool***

He can play. We haven't sold him, and he's not loaned out. He's not registered for play in the Premier league, but that's it. This isn't the premier league. De Zerbi not wanting to play him is another matter.
That’s what the reporters say but that’s a contradiction to the published rules

Tough game, even when we are at our best, this one typically doesn't go for us.

No Porro still, Tonali out, suspect we will manage minutes for Maddison, Kudus. Logic says Senesi, Davies, Gallagher, Bergvall get some game time.

Pressure is building, really need not to get tonked here, pressure going into week-end would be horrible. Asshats in press probably already have their story written.

Kinsky
Gray Senesi VDV Robertson
Fernandes Bergvall
Kudus Gallagher Tel
Marmoush

Subs: Dubravka, Tosin, JPVH, Davies, Udogie, Bentancur, Maddison, Savio, Solanke

Rule courtesy of @Bishop :

Player eligibility for the EFL Cup is determined by Rule 6.2, which dictates that an eligible player must be registered and qualified to participate in a simultaneous Premier League or league match

. The FA Cup similarly requires valid and continuous registration through the Football Association or the club's participating league under its specific competition rules. For further details, consult the EFL Cup Rules Handbook. [1, 2, 3]

The empty seats! 😮

And the difference in the speed of the game then and now. 😮
Retro football
And they were players that were more like the modern ones than their previous generations
Although I did once bump into Iversen in a pub at Covent Garden. He was drinking Guinness which threw me

Didn’t Waddle used to have a bottle of stout in the changing room pre-match?

Nothing would surprise me
I’ve seen old school players who could drink and create carnage (had to literally lift Kerry Dixon up when he crashed in his own pub) and I’ve seen Ledley fall down the stairs in the lounge in the old stadium tinkled on 2 pints (his wife’s words)
But they were all retired players TBF
