** OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool ** 8.1.25 at 8pm

NLS

Thimotée Atouba
A cup semi final in just over 24 hours and still no OMT sums it all up really....

Anyway, it's at home tomorrow night with a kuck off at 8pm and live on sky....

Hard to predict a team, so I won't ....

Is this a fetish thing? Because it sounds like a fetish thing.

Utd nullified Liverpool but in a formation/ style of play that is miles away from what we do.They're still a great team who can carve through opposition in a couple of moments and counter with efficiency.

We could have a 5-0 lead to take to Anfield and I wouldn't have confidence in us seeing it out. That said it'll hopefully be a good learning experience and we can see some players get minutes to show if they can be genuine options. Maybe Reggie can pull a worldy of a performance out against Salah and if a few things go our way (and the same happens at Anfield) we could be in with a shout.

Hopefully see the young Czech lad in as well, he was Slavia Prague (booo)'s no1 so he should be up to speed.

COYS!! No matter what adversity we are facing, we still have a chance in this match (even a Championship side would be going into it aiming to win). We need to create a good atmosphere and have some belief, then who knows if we can get VDV back for the second leg.

Got a feeling we're going to win a trophy in some form this year (despite being brick in the league).

Can't see Moore coming straight back in, might get a few minutes off bench and think it's too early for Kinsky he will hardly know anyone name, that not good for communication in defence.

Id play Moore over Richarlison. At worst he'll tire, whereas worst with Richy is a relapse. And id play either of them over Werner (ever) or (current form) Son.

Similar with Kinsky - no one is in possession of that shirt at the moment, and he has the talent and big game experience. Good players dont have to communicate as much because they tend to do the correct thing to start with.

I cannot believe you think players don't need to communicate particularly defenders, as far as I know Moore joined training on Monday and although he may had done some conditioning prior to that he'll never be physically ready to start a game without more time.

He speaks perfect English, so what does he need to learn extra - Pedro, Radu, Archie and Jed? Football is a universal game. Ive played abroad in teams where ive had no language and its very easy to immediately communicate with any other player who know what they are doing.

Hopefully Ange has learnt a few things from the 3-6 game and we approach tomorrow with an adaptation or two. They are likely to rest at least a couple, so it’s not out of the question that we can get something; even a draw would keep things alive for the next leg. (Seems ridiculous that is in a month’s time btw!)

You've played professional football abroad? I speak reasonable English yet I know I've called people who I know by wrong name in less stressful situations. We can hope our teams ESP is working well.
