***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Kings Road WAN KERS - Sat, 5.30pm, Stamford S**thole***

For me, the biggest question was never the squad (still need a top goalscorer/CF) but whether RDZ could find the character, fight and personality for us to have an identity. A will to win. A desire to fight for each other. I have seen signs growing, but it was at Old Trafford when I felt we found that connection. We'll look back at Solanke's injury time and equaliser and realise what a turning point it was. After yesterday, there is not one member of that squad who does not believe in another; and they will all believe that we should push for a CL spot. And we should. That isn't over-hype, it's connecting the already talented and able dots.
Belief is a virus, and I think (especially after yesterday) it is spreading throughout the club and stands.
Fitness has been key for me
And I don’t mean injury free, I mean match fit
We finally looked it across the team vs United and it carried on

I just watched the game on Spursplay and noticed they definitely targeted Maddison for heavy challenges which ref was happy to allow. Wasn't there some talk of stopping players crowding around the ref when he's making a decision and that players had to leave the field quickly when sent off? Palmer seem to take ages to go.

When Palmer was sent off one them actually said straight to ref "that's fudging brick" and the ref totally ignored it.
Rewatched the whole game as well and they were lucky to have only one sent off tbh.

As much as I hate the hackneyed use of the term “statement win” it’s been nice to get to enjoy the analysis of our match for a change!

The Podcast should be quite easy. We have improved week in, week out, with the rub of the green not always going our way. The goals have started to arrive, as they always weere going to and what looked like an over-abundance of players through the middle of the park is starting to look like great depth as players become increasingly familiar with each other. De Zerbi's socials need to be fortnightly.

I know it's been mentioned already but our travelling fans were outstanding even before a ball had been kicked, they never stopped believing. If only we could get that support at home instead of the usual doom and gloom, we're supposed to be fans not haters, supporters not hinderers. We all get dissapointed with performances and result but getting on the teams back isn't helpful to anyone.

Noticed that neither MOTD and Sky highlights showed Morgan Rogers's kick of Conor Gallagher which was appalling. If you are going to talk about violent conduct, that was awful.
I thought the Palmer incident was an Orange, could have gone, could have stayed on, it was a difficult decision, I wasn't overly upset with him not being sent off

The Rogers kick out was just trying to injury someone, should have been walking, thug behaviour

I thought the ref had an excellent game other than that, which should have been picked up by VAR anyway

Which of Palmer's offences did you think was Orange? I thought hitting a man off his feet was a red card. I also thought the second incident was a deliberate assault due to his frustration and was worthy of a red card. Both were the actions of a petulant thug.
