Totally agree. And now we’ve arrived at this 343 we can’t get Ndom in either. With this formation you have to have WBs that can offer going forward. Be interesting to see by the end of the season how many goals Reggie and Royal are actually involved in.
 
Son got a lot of stick..
Everton crowd wind themselves up..
Ndombele could have done more..
I can't see Conti getting too much from this squad..too many weak players although they tried their best.

I'd have said our passing was a negative. Absolutely atrocious.
 
You can see some decent patterns. Better positioning etc so that gives me some hope going forward.

The wing backs are going to be so important to us as well as the CB'S on the side. They get a lot of time on the ball.

Our forwards just look off their game at the moment. Son not playing well. Can't rely on Moura. And Kane looks off as well.

PEH and Skipp is just to much bland passing.

He played 352 at Inter so could bring in Ndombele or GLC for Moura and play that formation

Alternatively, Gil is more creative than Moura so bringing him in when fit might improve things

The creativity is a huge issue though with the 11 which Conte has picked in his first two games
 
With a few players not getting selected for their country. At least Conte has a full 2 weeks with a fair few of the squad to work on things.

A decent half-dozen matches coming up to try and build some momentum, before tricky back-to-back away days and Liverpool at home
 
Not the worst performance and result.
We had quite a few opportunities to get in but either delayed or over hit the pass or chose the wrong option. As others have said we need to find a way to get a creative player in the set up. Passing and movement is far better than it has been.

There was a massive improvement! From the start of the first half to about 60 mins we dominated possession, passing through a press with fast crisp passing.

We are still playing on the break. @DubSpur too we will gamble and try things. Yes players are off form and nervous - shi1 themselves in the final third. Even Kane did with the pretty simple pass to Son for a clear strike on goal. But all in all our build up play, the way the team moved the ball through midfield - it has clearly been worked on. And it was clearly a huge improvement.

We needed Reggie or Royal to take one of the openings, but I was actually impressed with this game. It gives Conte a platform to work from.

Thought Doherty put in a couple of good balls from lwb. Lo Celso’s corner at the end was a disgrace and cost us Skipp for a game!

The intent with the passing is there, the quality isn’t yet. Whether that will invoice by coaching or personnel remains to be seem. Ndombele didn’t do himself any favours by losing the ball more often than but but may benefit from not going away for the break.
When Kane and Son are off we don’t seem to have any alternative to change it. We may be able to fix the midfield by getting more from the players we have but this is one are we need to get at least one if not two in.
 
I don't think we need a creator atm as much as we need someone we isn't panicking because of our terrible stats.
We're panicking every time we break.

Yes that is a possibility. The problem with him or Gil coming in for Moura is you’re not adding to the attacking personnel - but I would welcome someone with a bit of guile. For the 3 at the back to work you really have to get the wing backs contributing.

I get the impression Le Celso is not 100% focused. Terrible corner when we had a chance to win!
