***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Emirates Marketing Project***

Ironic! Rodri gets booked for a cynical foul so misses their next game - against Villa, one of our closest rivals for CL qualification. So potentially the team more heavily punished is us, the one the original foal was committed against.

What a clever rule!

Ok that could be 5-1 but we’re still hanging in there.

Interesting that when the commentators said we should go long and mix it up we actually put together our best passing move getting right up the pitch, ending in an attack.

If we can get to that level consistently then it will be interesting, but we have been sloppy at times in possession.

yeah, we'll see at the end of the season how many of those dropped points would have made a difference to our finishing position

we are setting ourselves up to defend badly from set pieces, Davies shouldn't have Haaland

Yup, that's how leagues work, glad you've cottoned on to the idea!

As for Davies, City have so many huge players there's always going to be a mismatch somewhere. The key is to not leave him isolated with Doku with the ball at his feet as that's really going to cost us

You think ?
All I've seen is him go backward most times he gets the ball, give it away and fail to make a simple pass (2 times to Son, when he was in)

He's getting little support, no point in passing it forward if there's nobody there.
And that wasn't a simple pass to son, 30 yards across the box with defenders closing son down.

Well only 2-1, could have been worse. City will still pile on until its 3-1, but I think possibly with a midweek game if they do get 2 ahead they could well ease off the gas slightly.
Still see a heavy defeat coming, but maybe not one the finishes as a PL record

Yup, it's just those dropped points that will make a difference to our finishing position, the others won't...

Either way is difficult tbh. If you defend them deeper, you put Harlaad nearer the goal. I think we were a little unlucky with the first goal. I think the higher line might be preferable in these circumstances IMHO

We haven’t shut up shop and tried to hit them on the counter but still have the same statistics that make you think thats exactly what we have done.
