Blimey if you lot were about in 1939 the war would have been over by Christmas, away to City is a tough game and we have to be at our best starting with mental strength and self belief. The one positive I hope for in all this doom and gloom is that there will not be the usual overreaction and recriminations to a defeat if, but that a long shot.

Yeah, but we'd have the '50+1' ownership rule, and low ticket prices.

It all depends on the nature of defeat.

I haven't been bothered by any of our defeats this season. Pre-season and the early few games confirmed to me we'd not progressed from the end of last season and I've been resigned ever since to enjoying the bad**** lunacy/rollercoaster of Angeball before the players/board get tired of it.

Do not hold your breath waiting for that to happen.

About where I am.
So the real question is, if we lose is Ange under pressure?
Depends how we lose. If it’s another lacklustre defeat with the players not really showing up, and the manager passive on the sideline with his hands in his pockets, then yes, I’d say he’s under quite a bit of pressure.

Prime opportunity to try three at the back with Davies, Radu and Dorrington.

0-0 would be a great result.

(When isn’t it :p)
