*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Burnley FC ***

I'm very interested to see who is rested after a tough game on Weds night, and considering we have some decent options.

E.g. Romero had cramp and couldn't walk, but surely he will play and it will be the usual back 4.

E.g. Palhinha is not young and we might think Burnley at home is a good game for him to skip.

E.g. Tel had a bad moment so will TF start him?

E.g. Odobert Johnson (Bergvall Gray etc) will be wanting minutes.

In fact, it is verrrry important to me that TF does shake things up a bit, I hope that TF starts with a bit of rotation already, rather than simply sending out the same team in what is 100% a different situation to PSG.

I was pleased to hear TF say that he is a big believer in using all 5 subs to keep things fresh (for the current game and the next and the next).

Note TF said that he thinks 2 games close together is not a problem, players can get through that workload, but it has a bigger impact on the 3rd game, the players cannot play all 3 in tight sequence, so I do expect some rotation.

My prediction: Apparently Burnley are famed for their defence, so presumably we will struggle to score and the fans will start to grow restless, then we will hope a set piece or long throw causes chaos and goes in.

My predictions without listing the exact team would be:

Paulinha is rested - because he hasn't played too much football of late, the third game is against Emirates Marketing Project so will need him for that and at home to Burnley we will dominate possession and not need a specialist DM (or at least can afford to deploy someone more progressive like Gray there)

Usual back 5

One or both of Johnson or Odobert starts and we go back to one striker with two wider players

Richi keeps his place up front. Solanke plus two others come on around the hour mark for rotation purposes regardless of the score
