I think it was likely just the club embracing this new 'glory nights in green' thing we've had. We beat Emirates Marketing Project, Ajax and Frankfurt in green, same in Bodo.

Every player in the history of the game has made mistakes or had Red Cards in their career, it doesn't take away from the fact that he is a tremendous player.

More games than he isn't when fit, in a game where literally there are about 4 traditional CBs in world football who can defend these days, in a game thats built around not protecting CBs universally

I am taking him above the majority of defenders that people want him sold and replaced with

ONLY???? Wtf. Bar I think City and Liverpool?? How many European finals have any English team been in the last 6 years????
 
Funny to see the likes of Wenger moaning about EL winners being awarded a place in the CL. Not sure I've ever heard him mention that until this season.

I don't see how anyone that is happy for teams that finish 3rd/4th/5th in their domestic leagues qualify for the CL not be happy about teams that win a European competition to qualify. Winning should always be rewarded.

Glad you managed to get in - I got plenty of photos, will post a few later.

Left the ground to lots of handshakes and well wishing from the home supporters - which makes a change 😂
