*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Atletico Madrid ***

An early goal and at least it will be exciting.

There’s also a chance they will have their foot off the gas. I think the only way we could win is with 2 quick goals, so they think they are comfortable and before they have a chance to wake up.
they also have a 'big' game at the weekend to consider against Real!

Massive importance tonight, regardless of aggregate result. If we can build upon the confidence and grit we showed against Liverpool, and get a good performance and possibly result tonight, along with some relief from not picking up new injuries or suspensions, it would be a huge step in the right direction.

I would not mind if we managed to go through to the next round, I'll admit I'm shallow enough to be enticed by the drama and glamour that is Champions League, and I'd quite enjoy it a bit if we were to win the damn thing. However, the performance, the building blocks for getting us out of the ditch, the improvement and banishment of whatever foul creature that has cast this horrible spell over our club is much more important than some oversized champagne cooler with rather large ears.

So good performance, preferrably a win, no injuries and no silly mistakes. And then we thump those sherwoodians properly and thoroughly in the weekend, before we go on an unbeaten run till the end of the season. Wahey!

I have never been a supporter of not trying to win every game, I don't think any professional sportsman doesn't want to win, I'll accept there are games you cant win but you must always play the players who can get you a win. Injuries and suspensions will limit our choices but I'm hoping we give it a go for all the fans who are there .

Turning this tie around tonight would be huge, absolutely huge, but it’s probably a hope too far. However a win would still be terrific to have behind us going into the Forest game.
Yet I still want to believe we can do it……
