Re: *** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Aston Villa, Capital One Cup 3rd Round, Tues 24th Sep
As funny as it is, having his pants pulled down, that Helenius looks like he might be a good player sometime soon.
Very happy with tonight's performance by Spurs. Kane has done everything, bar scoring, he needed to do to keep his name in the frame. Lamela must have lennon worried about ever making the starting 11 again. Good ol' Brad Friedel has been steady as ever. Walker has bounced back nicely since his early knock.
Paulinho deserves his own paragraph. Just an abasolutely class player. Love how he moves a step or two to one side and makes himself available for a return pass. Such a wonderfullly instinctive player. Has to rub off on everyone else at training.
And Chiriches has done nicely i his first appearance. Really, the priority now is to keep another clean sheet.
I would be amazed if Soldado was dropped for Chelsea. Defoe could have scored a hat-trick tonight and would not have expected it to change AVB's choice.
