Another very very tough game, really not sure who the hell we can pick on Thursday

They will be in for the kill, very physical with us and will press us hard

I'm always a glass half full Spurs fan but I can't see us getting more than a point if I'm honest

Forster

Spence Romero Dragusin Davies

Sarr Bissouma Maddison

Kulu Solanke Son

As you say, this is a tough game and difficult to pick a team...

I would definitely start with Spence but beyond that I would pick a team with the chelscum game in mind as I hate that lot more than anyone. I'm not saying Ange will be going along with my mentality but I can't face the thought of losing to chelscum again....

Never gonna happen, but if Solanke is still out, and a few players looked gassed last match

Forster
Spence Dragusin Davies Udogie
Sarr Bissouma
Johnson Maddison Werner
Kulusevski
Maddison to find the runs of Johnson or Werner, Kulusevski to hold it up.
Gives Porro and Son a rest (bench if needed).

If Gray is fit I'd give him a game in place of either Sarr or Bissouma. Kulu on the right with Johnson rested/benched and Solanke up top if well enough. If no Solanke give Lankshear a go.

Wish I could be going as it’s the nearest match to me. But I know tickets are impossible.

I think we’ll win as think that Bournemouth are too open so as long as we’re up to it and go into the match with the right attitude then we’ll win a high scoring match.

Ditto - nearest game to me too. Have sat in with the Bournemouth fans 3 or 4 times, but there’s not much joy in that.

With our squad depleted and players exhausted, lets hope we can spring the offside trap and get Werner/Johnson free to combine and score. But Bournemouth are very well drilled and have some very decent players that are attracting a lot of interest, so it is a tough place to go nowadays, so it will take a huge effort to get 3 points.

But whatever happens, do not expect Son to play striker.
And get fresh legs on.
Definitely Spence and Gray. Hopefully Bergvall and Lankshear and anyone else fit. Not Porro/Son again

I genuinely have no idea who he'll start, and no feeling as to what will happen in the game. It literally feels like we're 'in the moment' right now.
Hoping for some changes. And hoping that Solanke and Romero are back. We can't just keep running the same players into the ground.

Kulusevski will probably be back in. Perhaps Spence. Hoping Gray or Bergvall are seen as ready too.

Forster; Spence - Romero/Dragusin - Davies - Udogie; Sarr - Bissouma - Bergvall; Kulusevski - Solanke/Lankshear - Werner. Or something to that effect would be my suggestion.

Give a breather to Porro, Son, Maddison and Johnson. Options on the bench both in midfield and up front that can replace players not playing well if need be or players that have played a lot if that ends up the priority.

I'd rather have some really good players with the energy to come on and influence/change the game with 30 minutes left than start them all and have them play tired, getting to exhausted at some point and looking at the bench to one quality player and a bunch of unproven players.

What do you mean by "in the moment"? Not sure I fully get it, but I think I like it.

For me a moment for someone to step up.

I just think there's so many margins in and around the club right now -from fitness metrics to red line players- that it is impossible to properly ascertain who will end up on the pitch Thursday, let alone Sunday. This moment of the season feels as bad as this time last season. Significantly, we appear to have similar 'areas' of injury and fatigue. I know, this is not the place to discuss squad assembly LOL...

I like your thinking, I suppose I'll take a stab at a side for Thursday...

Forster

Spence
Dragusin
Davies
Udogie

Sarr
Bissouma
Deki

Werner
Solanke
Johnson

I think I'd be looking to sub Bergvall and Gray in for energy, Maddison in for late-craft if needed, Sonny in for a late goal if needed, Porro in to keep some minutes in his legs before Chelsea, and Will in uptop (possibly for Sonny to play off if we're chasing a result).

If there was one 10 minute gamble I'd love to see it'd be Luca Williams-Barnett, who is a fudging talent but (frankly) might not be physically ready. However perhaps in a 10 min cameo he'd be able to shine?

That 6 is where we are going to be absolutely fudged in December. Biss is going to need some help, and I cannot see who in this squad can give it. Gray possibly BUT it would be a huge risk as he is not a 6 but could probably do the job to a certain degree.

I agree, difficult to predict. I like your suggestion too and probably more likely than mine.

To me it doesn't feel as bad as it did last season at this time. Then we didn't have Dragusin and Werner, or Solanke, or youngsters this close to being ready.

We really could do with getting to a comfortable place in a game to be able to rotate out some players without much risk.

I think Gray is the player we have to look to. For me that should probably be with Sarr on the pitch to in a more double pivot type setup to help Gray out.

Cheers for posting.

Tells the story of how hard we work most of the time. And how we'd probably like to play the vast majority of the time.

Will be interesting to see if the "predictions" from theanalyst comes true or if fatigue will stop us from making it that kind of game.

Assuming Bournemouth don't change their style up against us it's the kind of style we do well against when on our game, but have really struggled with at times (particularly Palace, but also for periods of other games). If we can play through their press sufficiently often we should be able to attack into space and get a lot of joy. Our quality on the ball in deeper areas will be key imo. Need Bissouma, the centre backs and full backs to be on their game in our buildup.
