***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur Football Club vs AFC Bournemouth***

The RKM pick up is why I’m fast becoming less and less bothered about the club.

Clearly we were desperate and just took what we could on the cheap - which I’m guessing had next to no planning or scouting.

I watched an interview on how Brentford signed Thiago. And similar for how Saudi Sportswashing Machine picked up Woltemarde.

They weren’t overnight picks. Months of prep and effort went into landing their preferred targets. Someone has done their job properly there and probably signed the best forwards available to each of those teams.

Can we say the same about our recruitment? We sign stale names who nobody else wants. I would honestly rather sign someone from abroad that I’ve not heard of where some proper scouts have gone and done months of work to identify them.

Next manger that comes in has to be a temp, the rest of this season is going to long and a struggle and we are going to have to make sure we have enough points to stay up however we can.

They need to do a job of keeping us in the league then moving on and a fresh manager in the summer.

Laugh all you want. Redknapp would jump at the chance to take over for 2 or 3 months at the end of February, and then hand the reins over to Pochettino, or whoever

Mate, he plays % football, he has literally said he has no issue with someone shooting from outside the box because it's low percentage stuff.

So the Semenyo goal, like the PSG & Scum Hattricks are fudging instructions from the manager ...
Problem is, it's not low percentage if you give them tons of time and space.

I've seen Michael Dawson repeatedly smash the ball into the top corner in training. Any pro can do it without the pressure - most decent amateurs could.

If we give PL players 5-10 yards outside the box with the ball at their feet, that's no longer a low percentage opportunity.

Mate, it's been done to death, at a technical level, IIRC it's called zone 14 on the pitch, Frank sits his backline on the 6 yard box to congest the box, it leaves zone 14 open and he is ok with that, it's something he has said, and it's something that has been picked up by multiple football analysts and every fudging opposing manager.
Got a link?

We are the gift that keeps on giving. Not had a win in 11 games, we give it to them. Semenyo's last game for the club, does nothing all game but scores the winning goal. Only Spurs!

Not sure what to make of the game. Stats wise we appeared to have played quite well and they have scored 3 with their 3 shots on target but we make it so easy for teams. Semenyo's winner from the edge of the box is a goal we have seen against us so often with literally no pressure being put on that player. Why does it keep happening?

After a positive start to the season there's a definite toxicity creeping into the club now and whilst i think there have been some positive signs in the past few games we are just not picking up the results. I've been fine with Frank being given the season as despite concerns i honestly think it is too soon to judge but if we don't pick up some results soon with the games we have coming then i honestly think he'll be in danger come February.

We don't have the fundamentals in place (decision-making and passing in particular) and lack leadership, and I don't quite see how getting Maddison and Kulusevski back, not exactly neckgrabbers themselves is going to help. But at least we have upped the effort, and fight and break better than the apathetic nothingness from earlier this season. I would love to see us shoot more when an opening presents itself though, rather than trying to pass the ball to death, which we are not very good at.

I still dont think we will see either this season, we are cursed

As much as I don't like Muani the club had been in for him previously iirc before he went to Juve so you'd have to assume there was some knowledge of him

You are not finding anyone in world football who will come close to Kane let alone sign for us and its the same for a prime Son.
We didnt even try though, thats the issue.

We literally helped Son sign for LA, he went to gr We ta lengths to thanks us for it.

We knew Kane was leaving, it was on the cards for long enough, we replaced him with Richy and then Solanke.

Some club

Jesus mate, Saudi Sportswashing Machine famously failed at signing something like 12 players in that window before picking up Woltemarde.

Our club is run like brick, we don't have to pretend others are brilliant to make the point.
