***OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FC V fulham...Sat 29th (today FFS!) 8pm - BTW HAPPY BIRTHDAY FERNADEZ'S OLDEST KID***

Yeah maybe he did
Not debating that
But the way it’s been spun to suit an agenda against him is weird
Same with Porro chucking his shirt. That I saw and actually Bentacur did the same thing and first bit because he didn’t have any words on the centre circle it hasn’t been mentioned
I haven't seen the Porro stuff, players are human, they get angry, frustrated and tinkled off the same as everyone.
When someone in the crowd does it they are anonymous, the players have the eyes of the world on them, it can't be easy reigning it in even knowing every single action of yours is going to be analysed to nth degree.

Analysed by experts in the crowd too

How were chelsea in their managers first season? Of course we are very far away from being a polish side. The question is do you show patience and support, or undermine? Every manager who steps into a job with such flux with very little foundation, will need time. Those who can see the big picture aren't fixated by last season, just trying to lower expectations whilst the side rebuilds.
4th with 69 points and conference league winners.

You do feel there's something up. There'a a video online, I think posted by that Cowlin guy, of Frank walking onto the pitch after the final whistle Saturday: he goes and shakes hands with the ref and linesmen, then he seems to spend more time interacting with the Fulham players (handshakes, hugs even) than he does with any of his own. Bentancur is the only one who even acknowledges him. We don't see what happens afterwards, of course; perhaps there would have been more reassuring scenes if the video had continued, but in isolation, it didn't look great.

I respect @SpurMeUp ’s desire for Frank to get time, and to get time without endless scrutiny. He wasn’t a manager I wanted and I’m not enjoying watching his team at the moment, but having beat the drum for so long, begging for us to do something different for once and give Ange proper time and proper backing, I absolutely get where he’s coming from. I don’t think things are ever actually as bad as they seem and we’re only ever a few months from turning it all around. I hope Frank can do that, otherwise will just do the dance of attacking -> pragmatic -> attacking for the rest of time.
