***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur FC v Everton, Sun May 24th, 4.00pm, The Lane***

Frank too long I totally agree. But the appointment of Tudor. A man who never worked in the premier League. I'll never understand that appointment. RDZ in at that point and we are nowhere near the bottom 3.

Bearing in mind that a lot of people were talking about some combination of Defoe, Mason and whoever else, I don’t blame them as much for the Tudor appointment. It looked like De Zerbi genuinely wasn’t ready to come. And Tudor had a reputation as a fire fighter. Under pressure and with no good options with Frank’s position having long since been untenable, I didn’t hate it. It didn’t work, but there was some logic to it.

Getting De Zerbi was incredible though. And he is the one that deserves to be hailed as a master stroke. To pull this off in seven games after we looked completely gone against Forest…he’s a Spurs legend in the quickest time ever if you ask me.

We can enjoy the World Cup now 🙏

HUGE reinforcements needed in CM and forward line. Bents and Palinha were outstanding but there's a huge drop off after them. biss sarr berg etc. May have to start planning for life without Kulu too if hes not back soon.

On a side note hope we batter Leeds next season. Seem a few of their fans having a love in with West Ham fans. Saying they hope they lose to them etc and going by their performance today looks like they might have been trying to achieve that.

Of course they all know what we could become. Can't blame them!!

The reason I like going to games and not watching on TV was that I wasn't nervous today, but if I watched on TV, I'd be a wreck.
When you are bellowing COYS, there is no way you are nervous - it's great therapy! And seeing us score helps too!!!
100% feel the same
If I’m there I can kinda have an impact
If I’m at home I’m in the hands of sky and wherever they want to say and do

Not sure I can agree.
Yes it would be far worse watching on tv but even in the stadium, and even with singing my lungs out, I still had room to feel nervous as hell!

Has to endure Sky today....but never again if I can avoid it.

All that stupid gonads in the studio, digging at us, sniggering pricks.

And Neville and his sidekick on the comms, one negative after another and hoping a cave-in arrives...not to mention the drone of A.Smith on most matches.

The pallyness of 'the crew' just comes across as unprofessional.
If I want any pre match when we are on TV at home matches I Normally watch the club pre match stuff with Ben Haines. So much better than watching Sky.

That’s 2 seasons in a row we’ve finished 4th from bottom, we just can’t keep doing this.. Aside from injuries our forward line is so poor. Hopefully this time those in charge have learnt a lesson. We need to spend big on at least 2 decent forwards. I’d put in a massive bid on Junior Kroupi. We cannot go into next season relying on Solanke and Richy (as much as I love Ricky’s battling). We need to look what Man Utd did last season after finishing in their lowest position in the Pl. Bought 3 forwards 2 of whom were proven in the PL. We have to do the same and there’s no place for sentiment. I actually think we are ok defensively although we need a decent number 6 to come in to learn from Palhinha. Out with VIc I’m afraid, Kinsky gets the nod for me. I’d sell Romero too and use the money to get the forwards. This club deserves to be competing at the top not losing more games than it wins. I’m sick of it.

We already have sensesi joining it seems
And we will be selling a decent amount of players to help full the coffers

I want the club to forget almost everything from this season. Except one thing.

I want everyone to remember, in exacting detail, how desperately the rest wanted us down.

How much the media crowed, pundits chortled, how much the other fans gloated and jeered at us, praying for our downfall.

If anything, this season should remind everyone just how much everyone else has it out for us.

Remember that. Pin it to the wall. Use it as fuel.

You tried to kill us. You failed. You should have finished the job.

Revenge is the sweetest motivator, and the players, fans, and coach should have plenty of it heading into next season. Pin all those mocking articles on the dressing room wall. Sing with a little more spite. Be proud of who we are - nobody likes us, we don't fudging care.

We survived. Own it. Next season, make every one of them pay for failing to finish us when they had the chance.

What made it even worse you had the likes of of f~ckin Lincoln, Cardiff, Portsmouth and WBA joining in with 'Ole Ole Tottenham away' and 'We're off to Tottenham You're off to Crewe'

Ah well nobbies, you're off to the Olympic Stadium now instead, so enjoy your day, mother truckers

The day news broke we had appointed I was gutted, that was the day I thought we might really go down. I still dont know what they were thinking

I would be tempted to take John Stones on a free. I assume its Senesi for Romero, VDV to stay maybe with Danso and Vuskovic.

Robertson for Ben Davies, plus 2 maybe even 3 new forwards.

Haha. Reminds me when I was on the tube after travelling back from the Wolves game and there were a lot of I think it was Portsmouth fans on their way back home via London. Talking to a couple of them one wanted us to get relegated but his mate wanted West Ham to go down so that he could go to the London Stadium. I hope he’s pleased today. He’s in for a huge disappointment.

ICYMI… most of the Leeds fans I know dislike the Caravan Club almost as much myself and were quite happy to see them go down 🥳
