OMT - Totteham vs Swansea - Season Recovery Edition

I have to say that the tactic of sitting back after scoring a goal or 2 is incredibly frustrating. We lost a lot of points earlier in the season whilst trying to hold on.

The thing is - its difficult to get your mojo back when youre in that state of sitting back - the other team has the impetus and the extra energy.

Its tinkling me off so so fudgein much

Baffling, isnt it. Any one remotely associated with Spurs should know that this tactic never works for us.

my GHod, cactus head sure has had a massive fall from grace since being crowned young player of the year.

But he was crap for a lot of last season too, only Spurs fans could see it. The fact that he runs fast made other people notice him and think he was good.

I think we're dropping deep to stop them from threading passing in behind. Thing is they are getting patently of crosses in. Would put Bale or Defoe on their right back.

Shambles. Again. We have lost all shape - the players all of a sudden are all over the place, seemingly not knowing what to do or where to be.

Michu!! Jeez! VErts puts his hand sort of near his face and he goes down like he has been punched! i hate seeing that in football!!!

I don't think that it is a tactic. I think that it is just the ebb and flow of the game. Few teams dominate for 90 minutes.

Did Defoe forget to enter the pitch?

this is Dire stuff now. Sitting deep letting them get the crosses in. No outlet other than bale.
