I am guessing he wants 90 minutes from Son and Eriksen on Tuesday, so instead of using either of them too much today, he got 50-something minutes from Son and 30-something from Eriksen, which hopefully won't have much impact on them for PSV. Also bearing in mind that both players started v West Ham on Wednesday, with Son playing the full game and Eriksen doing 84 minutes.

It was a little strange, but there was some logic to it imo.
 
Well we've got our old Spurs back. I wanted to see us back to our attacking best and we've been looking better. Too bad the defence is trying to turn the clock back by a decade or two.

Steady on! Now you're going overboard in the other direction fella.

What we actually saw from Kane last night was very much a mixture of both the good and the bad. But overall he began to look a bit more like the Kane of old with more shots on target than we've seen in a while. And his goal was very well struck from a very difficult angle, the sort of goal only a top striker will score.

As for Sissoko, yes he deserves full recognition for both his work ethic and approach play but I doubt there was a single fan watching last night that expected him to do anything other than rooster up big time once he got near the box and that's exactly how it panned out.

Chilwell has potential but is currently less good than what we have and on a long contract at a rich club that inexplicably hates us.
