OMT Spurs v Athletico

The board unfortunately have no idea about the game of football. They maybe great business men. But those appointing the manager seem to think it's all about the data. Yes of course data is important in any decision but it's a tool which assists the decision. There is also those intangible things that are needed in a situation like this. The emotional connection with the players to be able to rally them to a cause, the ability to individually communicate so that the players follow you through brick walls. Igor seemingly has none of this. To a certain extent Daniel Levy got this, certainly when our backs were up against the wall.

The manager needs to be relieved of his position ASAP, I've been bleating about this since Fulham. The problem is I don't have any faith that the muppets will get it right next time.
100% agree with this. These are bad bad people in charge of the club. Honestly clueless.

Ingredients for this short term reign should have been:

Win the players over
Connect with the fans
Get the media on side
Prem experience

They made a terrible decision based on a guy who had some previous short term success at clubs in a totally different situation to ours.

Ps. I know you were probably talking about Frank but it’s just one bad decision after another.

Tudor was Paratici man
They just didn’t know how to get in as they never had a. Plan to sack Frank
That’s the scary part
The even scarier part is that they have even less of a clue now and will just sit on their hands and do nothing IMO

I got bored posting during Franks demise that whoever came in would have an uphill battle. No surprises we are worse now.

We weren’t a stuck team that needed a change. We were (and are) a team hit by injuries with no stability, familiarity or confidence.

I mean Richy is Richy, it's what you expect. We have a whole squad of Richy's. Mediocre players will give mediocre performances and the club will get mediocre results. Thing is we aren't even getting the mediocre results.

Yup, instead of spending big on players with the complete skillset to challenge for starting spots the Transfer Committee have instead opted for the scattergun approach of signing lots of okay mid-table players (like Richarlison and Dragusin) to fill out the squad plus embellished that with a smattering youngsters in the hope that one shall develop into the next Bale but in all probability shall go the way of Gil and Solomon.

I really think thats true. Its been said before, (and its not just our club that it applies too these days).

Its no longer a Football Club, its a business that happens to own an Entertainment venue where a team plays football, Boxing fights are staged and Beyonce sings there sometimes, oh and yes, it makes money, which is the key factor

We are saddled with a manager who plays three at the back when it is clear we cannot adapt to it. Look, I get the attraction of the concept, but Tudor must've seen within a game that we don't have the players who can do that, so Igor? Change the fu cking system!!!!
Playing Sarr and Gray as a two should be enough to be sacked on it's own.
