Eh. Decent half, all things considered - we're the better side, and ironically they've countered us pretty well.

If they want to keep sitting deep and being cautious, though, we really have no answer. The one bright spark in the sense of being able to unlock them tonight is Kulusevski - he looks like a he can wriggle through their defence at will.

Son, Reguilon, et al? Poor touches, heavy legs, look weirdly off despite having a week off.

We can still win this, but we'll need a gonading delivered by Conte at half time, and telling Dier and Reguilon to wake up and stop losing their men.

It's a cruel game at times. Defintely don't deserve to be trailing at HT. But certainly enough glimpses in that 1st half to hope we have a chance of coming away with something. Just need to sharpen up on the opportunities we get in the 2nd half

I’m trying not to focus on fourth and just on our performances. It’s pretty hard though if not impossible.

why did we back off when CR7 got the ball ?? ffs, it's as if we didn't learn (oh, we don't) - Kane to step up again and someone to finish the game for us. But everyone needs to step up

especially in replays. Dier has been much better this season, but needs to be putting pressure on Naldo.
