This will probably get buried but I'm really curious. Have we ever been top, in the season with Leicester, the one after with Chelsea? I can't remember us going top at all. We certainly haven't been top this season and unless you go top at least for a while, you're not in a title race. Not for me.

Although it was only in 'live' terms, the only we have topped the league in recent times was for around 10/15 mins in the NLD during the 'Leciester' season. Arsenal equalised then later in the day Leicester won at Swansea and IIRC we never got a chance again that season, or the last two

My take is we were never in the league title due to Arsenal and wolves defeats.
All the Sky claptrap should be ignored!
I disagree. We were and maybe just about still are in the title race. And Poch thought so too hence the reaction.

Kane MOTM. None of the other rate above a 6 IMHO.

Kane and Lloris the only players with anything approaching their usual level.

The 2 Belgians looked quite shaky towards the end of the match as well and made a few strange errors I thought.

I don't think so, and partly that's because we've never really been good enough to go top - good enough for Top 4, not good enough for that. But it's also because we tend to bottle it whenever we have a chance at it - I don't know if it's mental pressure or fragility, but something breaks when we're actually in the spotlight.

Aside from The referee who is more a limelight lover than Clattenberg ever was..

Burnley defended really well.

All we had to do was win every game to finish about City.

And we failed at step one against a pub team.

It’s fudging infuriating.

All we had to do was win 16 consecutive league games. Something no team has ever done before and do it on a run in.

It’s stuff like that that has people saying “sexy” after every defeat. They’re an awkward team, we had an off day after a good run of results in tight games. These things happen to the best of teams.

We do have a couple of passengers though who, too often, miscontrol the ball or take bad options.

We've got the tools to do that and will start all of those games as favourites, we've done all of the building work, all we have to do execute.

Would you stop. You’re expecting us to do something that’s never been done before in the top flight and do it under the most pressure? Unrealistic expectations.

Other than Kane playing and scoring the only positive I can think of is there will be less pressure on the Chelsea and Goon games.
